How do I know if I have a case?
Talking with our intake coordinator is the first step in determining whether you should seek legal recourse for injuries you (or a family member) have suffered. In an initial consultation, our experienced legal team will seek answers to the following three key questions:
- How serious are the injuries?
- Is there a liable party who is responsible for the damages?
- Is there time to file a lawsuit before the statute of limitations expires?
How long will it take to get a recovery?
Each case is unique. A less complex case may be settled within several months. More complex cases require more time. Your attorney can give you a general sense of how long your claim might take to resolve once he or she has enough information to assess its relative complexity.
